Panoramic Aperitif with a Tasting of 3 Sparkling Wines in Valpolicella – Gold Collection at Castrum Winery
Here is what's in store for you
We are located at the entrance to the Valpolicella Classica region, coming from Verona, on the central panoramic hill in the medieval village of Castelrotto. Our property is adjacent to the Castrum Rotari (7th century), a strategic military fortress considered the “Zero Kilometer” point of Valpolicella Classica.
Casa dei Fraccaroli (1790) – a family heritage for centuries and one of the oldest residences in the village, situated in the romantic square of Castelrotto – today encompasses Borghetti Giampiero Winery, a family-run boutique winery, and Castrum Wine Relais – Albergo Diffuso.
The experience begins with check-in at the boutique winery. Guests are then escorted to the panoramic terrace/pergola, which offers stunning views over Valpolicella Classica and the city of Verona.
The aperitif includes three sparkling wines from Borghetti Giampiero Winery’s Gold Collection.
The wines are paired with a selection of Lessinia cheeses and Sbrisolona, a traditional local dessert.
The experience takes place on the panoramic terrace/pergola.
By purchasing wines from our wine shop for a minimum amount equal to five times the cost of the tasting experience, the experience will be complimentary: the tasting fee will be deducted on-site.
