Here is what's in store for you

Vinea Ventis is a small, family-run estate in Paratico, on the Franciacorta shore of Lake Iseo. Claudia and Francesco founded it and one the family members welcome you in person, telling the story of the winery and the land behind it. They make around 20,000 bottles of Franciacorta a year.

You start on foot among the vines, inside the Parco dell'Oglio Nord nature reserve, then step into the cellar where the family explains the Franciacorta method: the second fermentation in the bottle and the long ageing on the lees that earn the DOCG.

The seated tasting pours two estate wines in order. First the Cuvée 21, the house emblem of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero, then the Satèn Celaris, a pure-Chardonnay Satèn that won "Best Sparkling" at the 2026 Best Wine Stars. Both come with a board of local cured meats, cheeses and baked goods. There's a seasonal vegetarian plate of hummus, falafel or couscous, and vegan or allergy versions on request.

The visit lasts about an hour and a half. Wear comfortable shoes for the vineyard path; leashed dogs are welcome on the walk but not in the production rooms. Children of any age and teenagers are welcome too, with water in place of the wines and the same board. In summer the tasting moves to the veranda among the vines!
