Upon arrival, a dedicated expert from Casale Mattia will welcome you and introduce you to the estate. The activity begins with a hands-on pruning lesson, where you will be guided through the essential techniques needed to properly care for the vine. Equipped with professional pruning shears, you will practice this fundamental skill, ensuring the vine's optimal development.
Following the pruning session, take a guided tour of the winery, where you will explore the winemaking and bottling processes. The experience concludes with a wine tasting, allowing you to savor the final result of the vineyard's hard work.

Esperienza fantastica. Il proprietario ci ha illustrato il vigneto, alcune tecniche di raccolta dell'uva, per poi spiegare nel dettaglio le diverse tecniche di degustazione non solo del vino, ma anche di liquori come la grappa. A seguire un ricco pranzo a base di ottimi prodotti locali. Una pecca, il brutto tempo, ma non fa niente, sarà un'ottima scusa per tornarci nuovamente. Voto: 110 e lode!

Esperienza bellissima, conoscere la storia di un'azienda vinicola del mio territorio è stato bellissimo. Degustazione accompagnata con bruschetta salumi affettati e formaggi. E per finire vino dolce cannellino accompagnato con ciambelline. Ambiente familiare.

Buona l' accoglienza dei proprietari. Cibo buono ed anche i vini che abbiamo degustato e che ovviamente abbiamo anche comprato. È stata una bella esperienza, merito anche del sole che illuminava la campagna con i vigneti

Ottima visita alla vigna e alla cantina, con illustrazione del processo produttivo dall'uva alla bottiglia! Interessantissime le piccole chicche del mestiere!!! Light lunch assolutamente perfetto, con salumi,bruschette, formaggi vari, e ciambelline finali!

E' stata una bella esperienza all'insegna del buon bere e del buon cibo. I proprietari della struttura sono cordiali, competenti e ci hanno fatto fare un bel giro spiegandoci l'azienda e il processo produttivo. La zona è veramente carina, ci si rilassa in una giornata calda come quella di ieri

Wonderful Harvest Experience at Casale Mattia
We had a group of 4 for the harvest experience and had a wonderful time. We started with some transportation issues from Rome but luckily for us the hosts went out of their way to ensure that we arrived in time before the harvest was finished for the day. After a short walk through the beautiful vineyard we were able to participate in the harvesting. We were then given a full tour of the production facility where everything was explained in detail. We got to watch the grapes being processed and sample the must which was tasty on it's own. Then we sat down for the wine tasting which included two wines ("Romos" DOC Roma Bianco and "rrampazzu" Shiraz IGT Rosso) with a nice spread to accompany it (bruschetta, meat, cheese, etc). Overall a great experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy day trip from Rome.

È stato tutto perfetto. Host accoglienti e super simpatici. Abbiamo scelto l'opzione vendemmia + degustazione e ci siamo davvero divertite nei vigneti per poi continuare con una degustazione di ottimo vini, accompagnati da salumi eccellenti. Super raccomandato.

A truly wonderful experience
We found this was a very convenient tour before booking. Less than a 30 minute train ride from Roma Termini and then a short walk (10 minutes) makes it very convenient for most. The tour was wonderful, as we were able to ask many questions and understand the full process of the vineyard. After the tour, we had a seemingly never ending stream of delicious dishes that paired well with the wine. The wines were all excellent and were explained well by the hosts. They were very welcoming and kind people who truly care about their craft, and speak great English. HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a half-day trip to a vineyard from Rome!

Esperienza al casale di mattia
Siamo state avvolte in una maniera squisita dal propietario di casa, che gentilmente ci ha mostrato tutto il ciclo di vita del vino prodotto. In seguito abbiamo avuto il piacere di fare una degustazione abbondante di affettati e formaggi, bruschette e legumi accompagnati con 3 tipologie di vini prodotti da loro. Dopodiché il proprietario di casa ci ha offerto gentilmente anche delle ciambelline di loro produzione. Devo dire tutto sopra le aspettative e presto ritorneremo. grazie ancora per la bellissima esperienza
