Visit and Tasting – “I Classici” Bolgheri DOC at Tenuta Di Vaira

Enjoy an authentic wine experience in the heart of the Bolgheri DOC, discovering the story, wines, and philosophy of the family-run Tenuta Di Vaira.

Your guided visit begins in the tasting room, featuring large panoramic windows overlooking the vineyards and the rolling Tuscan hills. Here, you will be introduced to the history of Bolgheri, the Di Vaira family, and the winemaking journey from grape to bottle.

The tour continues with a walk through the vineyards, followed by a visit to the Tinaia, where vinification takes place, and then to the Barrel Room, an atmospheric space where the wines mature in French oak barriques. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into the estate’s production methods and dedication to quality and terroir.

After the visit, enjoy a guided tasting of four wines:

These wines represent the elegant and approachable style of Bolgheri’s entry-level expressions — fresh, expressive, and deeply connected to the land. They are the wines that have accompanied Tenuta Di Vaira since its beginnings and have grown alongside the estate itself.

The tasting is paired with artisan bread and the estate’s own Extra Virgin Olive Oil, enhancing the flavors of each wine.

After the experience, guests are welcome to purchase wines directly from the wine shop or simply enjoy a relaxed moment before leaving.

Families are welcome: children will be offered organic Tuscan fruit juices and coloring sheets with markers, making this a pleasant experience for all ages.
