Maria is the daughter of a farmer. The desire to hand down her father's love for the land led her to create the Galassi Maria organic farm. She was nearly reaching her medical degree when her eyes took a different direction. She immersed herself in the green of her family business, handed down by her mother's grandmother since the end of the nineteenth century. She wanted a clean, as unpolluted as possible place. Even though her father had been practicing integrated agriculture for years, She decided to follow the rules of organic farming, which is easy because her land is surrounded by woods and a stream. Since 1994 her farm has been certified by the CCPB of Bologna, one of the oldest certifying bodies.
With this wine tour and tasting experience you'll get the chance to know Maria, talk with her about her vineyards and history, have a wak in the vineyards and, most important, taste here great wines!
