The day begins with a welcome at the Petrillo estate and a wholesome breakfast featuring homemade products, from biscuits to wine cake, while sipping a refreshing aperitif. The tour continues with a guided tour of the historic village of Montefusco, where stone alleys, breathtaking views, and historical remains recount centuries of life, art, and traditions. Together, we will visit the Oratory of San Giacomo, Palazzo Giordano, the Civic Tower, the old Bourbon Prison, museums, and wineries.

Upon returning to the Petrillo estate, a three-course lunch awaits you, celebrating traditional Irpinia and Samnite cuisine, featuring seasonal ingredients and recipes passed down through generations.

The afternoon is dedicated to the beating heart of Petrillo's passion: the winery. Here, amid the scent of must and barrels, you'll discover the secrets of winemaking and sparkling winemaking with a technical explanation by Maurizio, followed by a tasting of Petrillo sparkling wines, the perfect blend of elegance and terroir.

A sensory journey through authentic flavors and stories that speak of love for the land, to return home with a piece of Irpinia in your heart.

Happy experience
This experience made us truly happy.
The quality of the wines and the simple and delicious cuisine gave us a perfect lunch; the owners convey a boundless passion and with it they tell the story of every wine and every dish.
The village of Montefusco is a little gem full of history.
Try the fusilli allo scarpariello and try making fresh pasta.

Extraordinary
We are now back in Quebec. Our visit to the Petrillo vineyard is undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. We greatly appreciated the owner, who personally showed us around his vineyard. He managed to convey to us not only his love for his craft, but also his vast experience. He had us taste the grapes of each of his grape varieties with all their subtleties. Since we don't speak Italian, we used translation apps, and he adapted his speaking pace so we could understand clearly. He answered every one of our questions. During the meal, he kindly let us taste various wines from his vineyard. We are truly very satisfied with this day.

Amazing Experience!
An unforgettable experience from beginning to end! The tour of Montefusco was very informational and we got to see all the sites! The wine tasting at Petrillo Winery was exceptional, with delicious wines and a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast and lunch were also both wonderful and made the day feel especially generous. We felt welcomed and cared for throughout the entire experience. It was the perfect combination of local history, beautiful scenery, excellent food and wine. I would highly recommend it to anyone to make the trip!

A beautiful experience in the tranquility of the Irpinian landscape.
We were warmly welcomed by Maurizio and Samanta in an environment with attention to the smallest details, where we had the chance to taste their wines and wine-based products, the wine cake we had for breakfast was a delight!!
The visit to the village of Montefusco then let us end the day on a high note; the tower and the Bourbon prison were evocative and full of charm.
