Here is what's in store for you
With this tour you will visit Fuocomuorto Winery, which is the most characteristic and oldest winery in the Vesuvian area dug under the lava rock of the January eruption in 1037.
At your arrival you will be welcomed by the staff with an introduction of the history of the family and the company. You'll then visit the vineyards, in particular the terraced ones that overlook the Gulf of Naples with a breathtaking view from Sorrento, passing through Capri, Ischia, Procida,with the great cone of Vesuvius behind, all in a corner with benches of wood and the coolness of a pergola of white grapes.
After this you'll visit the Natural Cave, the old cellar where grapes were vinified from 1780 and until 1906. The cellar that you'll see is under the slab of lava rock datin back to the eruption of Vesuvius in January 1037.
Today these areas are used to refine the red wines in oak barrels and as a deposit of bottled wines before the sale.
By booking this experience, you will be served: a cutting board with bruschetta with Vesuvius cherry tomatoes, a bruschetta with eggplant in oil and another with zucchini in oil, olives in water and salt, casatiello (typical Neapolitan rustic dish), various cold cuts and cheeses, paired with two glasses of wine, Vesuvio Lacryma Christi Bianco and Vesuvio Lacryma Christi Rosso.

An amazing wine tasting experience

We really enjoyed the wine tasting and vineyard experience at Fuocomuorto, in particular the interesting history of the family run winery, the amazing wine and the beautiful views of the bay of Naples from the vineyard was a special highlight!
Gennaro provided us with a well explained vineyard tour, which he kept interesting and interactive!
For the tasting itself, we enjoyed 5 besutiful wines and pairings with some delicious Italian snacks - all of which we enjoyed immensely and we wished the two hours would not end. Overall I would say that the wine tasting experience is very good value for money and I would 100% come here again and recommend this to others.
We also bought some wine to take away with us - the Lava di Fuoco red wine (100% primitivo) in particular, is exceptional but the Don Gennaro white and the dry rose were also delicious.

We had a great time at Fuocomuorto winery. The host, Gennaro was very nice and the winery is beautiful. It’s a family business and he was very informative. We would highly recommend, the vineyard is very peaceful.

Amazing wine experience!

First time going to this winery and I have to say it was an amazing experience! The location near mount Vesuvius is unbelievable. The wines we tasted we amazing an paired excellent with the food they provided. And getting them shipped to you was easy as well. HIGHLY recommend coming and sampling these amazing wines!

We had a wonderful wine tasting here today. Gennaro was a very kind host and took the time to show us around and to tell us how their wine is made. Also great to hear the stories of a vineyard that originally started in the 18th century! From the vineyard you have a great view of the city of Naples and the islands Ischia and Capri. The food that they gave us to pair with the wine was delicious. The five wines that we tasted during the special wine tasting were excellent. A very memorable experience. Recommended!

Amazing experience

The view was beautiful and looking at the vineyard was stunning. The cellar was cool (temperature) which was nice after my groups long walk. Our guide was informative about his work, how long the wine sits, the pairings with the wine, and would joke with us. It was so good and a great experience, we all ordered some for home. If you want good Italian wine, go here.

This winery had excellent wine, an excellent view, and the family that owns it is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The history behind it was very interesting and an added bonus. Also, a huge and delicious charcuterie type plate to go with your wine tasting! My parents and I truly cherished this experience and will make sure to visit if we ever find ourselves in the area again.

Me and my friend had an amazing and unbelievable experience at this winery. We arrived a little later than we booked and it caused no problem. Gennaro was very welcoming and intuitive, he showed us the vineyard, the vine cellars and the factory. We also received an amazing plate with cheese, Naple bread, charcuterie and different toppings and tasted 3 amazing vines. They were delicious, the surrounding was magical so it is really the perfect experience! Also there is a lovely view on the sea and the Vesuvius! We would recommend it to everyone!

What an amazing hidden gem at the base of Mount Vesuvius. The scenery was awesome with Vesuvius behind you and the gulf in front with views of Napoli, Capri & Sorrento. The wine and food were fantastic!! I cant say enough about our host- he was kind, soft spoken and very patient as our Italian is not the best. The wine cellar is a site to behold as it was cut through the volcanic rock. I highly recommend this to all. It was a incredible memory that my daughter and I will cherish always.

Esperienza al di sopra delle aspettative, Tutto curato, visita interessante, vino buonissimo e cibo ottimo. Gennaro ci ha accompagnato lungo il tragitto spiegandoci nel dettaglio sia le attività dell'azienda e raccontandoci storie legate alla sua famiglia. Molto bella la grotta ricavata nella roccia. Location incantevole con vista sulle isole.

Degustazione vino stupenda

Sono andata con tre mie amiche, per festeggiare l'addio al nubilato di una di loro.
Gennaro ci ha trattato benissimo, con gentilezza, e ci ha spiegato bene la provenienza dei vini e le origini della grotta.
Abbiamo assaggiato 5 tipi di vini e ci hanno dato un tagliere con delle cose per accompagnare il vino buonissime.
C'era una pace e un silenzio incredibile, ci siamo rilassate e divertite!!!

Nous sommes venus dans cette azienda lors de vacances en famille.
De la visite de la cave, en passant par la découverte des vignes, à la dégustation des mets et des vins nous avons passé un excellent moment.
Une pause dans le temps dans ce lieu reposant avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer.
Très bon rapport qualité prix.
