Guided Wine Tasting & Local Platter at Il Pignetto near Lake Garda

At Il Pignetto, on the hills near Lake Garda, you will be welcomed by a member of the family for a wine experience that combines vineyard views, a cellar visit, and local flavors. Your visit begins outdoors overlooking the vineyards, where your host will introduce you to Il Pignetto's history and their daily work among the vines. You'll then step inside the cellar to see where the estate's wines are made.

After the introductory tour, which lasts about 20 minutes, the experience continues in the indoor tasting room. Here, you will have a guided tasting of three wines that provide an overview of the estate's production, from fresh whites to characteristic reds. The selection includes local appellations such as Custoza DOC, Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC, and Bardolino DOC. The tasting is paired with a traditional platter featuring bruschetta with Il Pignetto's own extra virgin olive oil, pancetta, and salami. During summer, the tasting may take place on the winery's covered porch.

Throughout the visit, you'll be guided by a family member directly involved in the winemaking process, from the vineyard to the bottle. This personal approach makes the experience an opportunity to discover the local wine culture through its people and products. Minors can join the tour and will be served the food platter with water.
