Your experience begins in a penthouse in the heart of Florence's historic center, with a welcome glass of Italian sparkling wine. You'll enjoy it on a panoramic terrace overlooking the city's rooftops and the Duomo. The sparkling wine might be a Valdobbiadene, a Franciacorta, or another Italian selection, depending on availability.

The tasting focuses on three Tuscan red wines, primarily from a producer in Panzano in Chianti. It's a journey through different expressions of Sangiovese, Tuscany's signature grape. You will typically taste a Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, an organic Super Tuscan IGT made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso, and an organic Super Tuscan IGT blend of Merlot, Sangiovese Grosso, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Both Super Tuscans are aged for at least 18 months in barriques.

Each wine is introduced through its story, terroir, and winemaking methods, highlighting the differences between traditional Chianti and contemporary Super Tuscans. The wines are accompanied by a selection of local foods, including pecorino cheese at different stages of aging, finocchiona salami, chicken liver crostini, and warm schiacciata flatbread. The setting is not a winery but a Florentine home, creating an intimate atmosphere for you to discover Tuscan wine away from the main tourist routes.

In the heart of Florence's historic centre, step into a real Florentine home for an intimate journey through the flavours and wines of Tuscany. Your experience begins with a welcome glass on the panoramic terrace, where you can take in beautiful views over the city's rooftops.

You'll then enjoy a guided tasting of three Tuscan wines from small local producers, each carefully paired with a farm-to-table menu inspired by traditional Tuscan cuisine. The meal begins with a selection of mixed bruschette, followed by local cured meats and cheeses served with artisan honeys and jams. You'll then enjoy a pasta course and a traditional Tuscan main course, before finishing on a classic local note with Vin Santo and cantuccini.

Throughout the experience, you'll discover the stories behind the wines, local ingredients and Tuscan culinary traditions in a relaxed and convivial setting.

More than a simple wine tasting or meal, this is an opportunity to experience Tuscany around the table as locals do.
