Oltrepò Pavese is one of the world’s leading regions for Pinot Noir production, second only to iconic territories such as Champagne and Burgundy. The best way to truly discover this noble grape variety and appreciate all its nuances is to immerse yourself in the rolling hills and history of Santa Maria della Versa.
Tenuta Ballerio is located in the heart of Oltrepò Pavese, just one and a half hours from Milan and Genoa, close to the main UNESCO sites of a region where wine is much more than a tradition.
The experience includes a complete tour of the vineyards and winery, during which you will discover the secrets of the winemaking process and hear fascinating stories connected to the history of the area.
Wine then takes center stage with a guided tasting of four wines.

- Pinot Nero DOCG Traditional Method Sparkling Wine, aged 54 months
- Sinfonia in Bianco IGT
- Pinot Nero Riserva IGT
- Croatina or Merlot Riserva IGT
The experience is complemented by platters of local cured meats and cheeses, carefully selected from the finest regional products.
