Sparkling and Chianti Wine Tasting Journey in Siena’s Historic Center

Your experience begins in the historic center of Siena, where you will be welcomed by an expert sommelier. This tasting is structured in two parts, held in two different wine shops, to explore two distinct styles of Italian wine.

The first stop is dedicated to sparkling wines. Here, you will taste two sparkling wines made with different production methods: one using the Martinotti Method, like Prosecco, and another with the Traditional Method, such as Trento DOC or Alta Langa. Your guide will explain the differences between these techniques, helping you recognize their impact on the wine's aromas, bubbles, and structure. 

You will then take a short walk to the other wine shop, which focuses on the region's classic red wines. You'll taste two wines from the Chianti Classico area, learning about the unique characteristics of this renowned Tuscan territory. The specific labels are selected and rotated periodically according to availability and the current offering. Throughout the tasting, breadsticks will be provided. 

The small group format ensures a relaxed and interactive atmosphere. Your host will guide you through each glass with clear explanations, helping you identify the specific aromas and flavors.
