What could be more exciting than wine tasting on a natural terrace overlooking Lake Como? It is not a dream, but a reality at Cascina Teresina!

Cascina Teresina's proposal includes a visit to the vineyards, followed by a tasting of our wines at the farmhouse, which is nestled in the vineyards overlooking Lake Como among the mountains at about 700 m above sea level. The tasting will take place in a relaxing setting; our agriturismo has a panoramic veranda and terraced garden.

The basic tasting includes the tasting of one of Cascina Teresina's Nebbiolo wines accompanied by the so-called "tagliere" or a rich platter consisting of a selection of quality cheeses and sliced meats and a side dish. In the tasting, are of course included water, bread made by ourselves, and coffee. You can decide to upgrade your experience by ordering one of the dishes of the day and also choose some more wines to taste from the a la carte menu.

Children and young people up to 18 years of age will not be served alcohol. You must inform us at the time of booking if there are any allergies, food intolerances or if there are special requests such as, for example, vegetarian guests.
Please note that the visit to the vineyards is only possible before sunset.

A very overpriced lunch, not a wine tasting

The lunch was well hosted and it was interesting to hear about the methods used at the vineyard however we were given 1 bottle of 18 euro wine to share amongst the group of 3 adults and were not permitted to try the others. Whilst I appreciate that they do not produce a lot of bottles, charging 50 euro per person for 1/3 of a bottle and some meat and cheeses is not good value. The views at the top of the mountain are fantastic although parking is limited and instructions on where to park were not given.
You should make clear this isn’t a tasting but rather a hosted lunch. The price point is far too high for what you get, 25 euros per person would probably be fair. Please also update the online form for children, the form asks you to let them know children from 0-4 years which meant we had to pay 25 euros a 3 month old baby who clearly wasn’t going to consume anything.

Hemos reservado una carta privada para un evento corporativo para 8 personas. Hemos recibido las instrucciones para arribar de forma correcta al lugar y un mensaje del host recordatorio por la mañana. Si bien el lugar no posee parking solamente hay que caminar 150m por el camino de montaña. El lugar es increíble, colgado en la montaña y con una gran vista al lago di como.
Al llegar nos ha recibido con la mesa preparada, lamentablemente por el clima tuvimos que comer dentro pero el lugar es acogedor. Cuando mejoró, nos ha facilitado para quedarnos fuera disfrutando de las vistas.
La comida sensacional con una cata de varios quesos y diferentes embutidos dignos de probar. a diferencia de los vinos, imaginamos que ibamos a probar diversos estilos, pero solamente nos ha abierto un vino solamente, que no fue del gusto de muchos.
La atención y la explicación muy buena y amable.

En nuestra opinión sería conveniente si se ofrece una cata de vino ofrecer diversas variedades y aprovechar a realizar maridajes con el plato que se ofrece y se podría aprovechar

Lovely lunch at Cascina Teresina

Had a fantastic afternoon at this relatively new winery. The views from our table sitting outside were magic! We enjoyed an excellent plate of antipasti of highest quality served with home made bread and a bottle of wine from the house (one bottle per two ppl). The owner took his time explaining about his wines, the winery, its story and his life as a wine maker. We ordered a second bottle to try, which was not a problem.
All in all a very nice experience! We will be back!

My families wine experience at Cascina Teresina was wonderful! The host made a beautiful spread of food for lunch and everything was delicious! After our lunch, we got to sit, relax, sip some wine, and enjoy the view.

We had a lovely time at Cascina Teresina. The landscape was absolutely beautiful and our hosts were lovely. They took great care of us. The overall atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. The wine and food were astonishing.
The only think is that the website mentioned both ham/cheese and a first course. We did not get the latter and did not dare to ask.

In few words: the upgrade is an option, you have to ask us if you decide for that option, and obviously you have to ask, last but not least to know what are the dishes of the day available.

I have met a wine professional who has the courage to do his own thing in the vineyard & from what I have tasted gives an excellent result in the glas. F is passionate and it's nice that it comes across that way, beautiful location with stunning views

Friendly and informative wine tour. Lovely cold meats, cheeses and homemade pies and breads, and of course very good red wine.
You can buy different red wines to take home, great!
