Wine tasting with vineyard and winery tour at Agnelli Viassone

We booked well in advance via Winedering for a vineyard and winery tour with tasting, scheduled from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, at a cost of 50 euros for two people.
In the preceding days, the owner contacted us twice asking to bring the appointment forward. We explained that it wasn't possible, as we had organized our entire day around the booked time.
The only true strong point is the beauty of the place, set in a stunning landscape of autumn vineyards. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations.
Arriving on time at 4:30 PM, by 5:05 PM we were already outside: a mere 35 minutes compared to the expected 90. No walk through the vineyards at sunset, which was one of the main reasons for our choice, but just a few quick explanations outside before entering the cellar.
The owner proved to be certainly competent, but we perceived a constant rush to conclude the tour and dismiss us. The wines were served in rapid succession, in very small quantities, without the necessary time to savor them, understand their characteristics, or delve deeper into the explanations. We tasted five wines instead of four, but this did not compensate for the superficiality of the experience.
The food pairing was also disappointing: three small pieces of Toma cheese, four slices of salami, and a few breadsticks, far from the rich board shown in the proposal's photographs.
What leaves one most perplexed is the management of the booking: if the 4:30 PM time slot was not compatible with the facility's needs, it would have been more correct to communicate this openly and offer a cancellation with a refund, rather than offering such a shortened experience.
We did not raise objections at the time because we don't like arguing, especially during a holiday. However, the disappointment remains of having specially organized the day for an activity that concluded in little more than half an hour.
We are giving 2 stars out of 5 exclusively for the beauty of the place and the competence of the owner. In terms of duration, organization, quality of hospitality, and the ratio between what was advertised and what was actually offered, the experience was not satisfactory.
A real shame, because the setting has all the potential for a high-level service.

I recommend this experience to everyone. Added value: the little donkey and the little sheep that made even my 3-year-old grandson happy.

Daniele is an excellent host, you immediately perceive the passion and dedication for his work: when you commit yourself fully, you experience the difficulties firsthand and you strive to overcome them, the results can only be excellent. We came to the Langhe in search of small producers and we were not disappointed.
We will definitely be back and we did not hesitate to add his labels to our wine list because inside every bottle, besides good wine, you find commitment, sacrifice and, despite his young age, also competence and experience.
