Here is what's in store for you

What is special about Panzanello is its history. Yes, because the winery has been producing wine since 1427 and those who work its lands have always been committed to respecting tradition.

When you arrive at Panzanello, the owners or staff will be there waiting and welcoming you! You can easily park your car in the courtyard.
After introducing ourselves, we will take you on one of the most beautiful experiences ever: a walk through the winery!

Once inside, you will visit the place where our wines are born and rest, where vats and barriques house the Panzanello wine for alcoholic fermentation and malolactic in a completely natural way. At this point, the wine will be left to rest as long as necessary to release the aromas and flavors that make it unique and inimitable. The tour of the winery ends inside its cozy tasting room or, weather permitting, on the beautiful terrace overlooking the castle of Panzano and the Chianti vineyards. The view you will be able to appreciate is breathtaking, and we are sure it will enchant you and make you want to immortalize it with a photo.

The experience continues with a tasting of 4 wines, from Chianti Classico to Super Tuscan, Rosé and bubbles, accompanied by gastronomic products from the area. The flavors that marry well with Panzanello wines include locally produced salami, prosciutto and finocchiona, aged pecorino cheese, vegetarian bruschetta, and the timeless bruschetta with Panzanello EVO oil. All accompanied by homemade Tuscan bread.

You may purchase our wines directly from our Winery, and if you cannot bring the bottles with you, we can ship them directly to your home.

We are waiting for you!

The owner and winemaker Andrea gave us a fabulous tour of his operation and cellar. Also a useful lesson on the history of Chianti and labeling. We had a wonderful lunch and tasting also. Love the Chianti Classico Riserva.!

Andrea was a wonderful host and storyteller. Bring an extra suitcase for the wine you want to bring home or else you pay a pretty hefty fee for shipping. Loved all of his wines.

Our family visited the Panzanello Vineyard in Siena Italy. It was beyond all expectations. Fascinating and charming owner Andrea guided us thru the process and shared his heritage with us. We did a bus tour and it was so easy. Seeing the valleys of grapes and enjoying his family dinner was delicious and accommodating. Beautiful, friendly, like we were in someones home. My family loved the wine. Each sampling was coupled with a thorough explanation. It was like we were best friends in minutes. LOVE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We visited this winery through a tour...

1/29/15
We visited this winery through a tour through Ciao Florence. Mateo our driver and tour guide was amazing. We had a very small group about 5 of us and had a very personal tour of the winery. In the tasting room we received some Bruschetta, a vegetable lasagna, and then Wild Boar with Peas. All the food was made by our tour guide and owners of the property. It was excellent.

Now to hear about the wine which is probably why you are reading this. We got a thorough explanation of the Chianti Classico designation and why some wines have the Black Rooster sticker. My personal description is that this designation ensures that a large portion of the Sangiovese grape from Chianti region is used and then requires every Chianti to taste relatively the same (Boring). My preference is for wine to have more complex tastes and aromas. We tasted generous amounts of Panzanello's Classico Chianti 2012, Chianti Reserve 2011, Il Manuzio 2010, and Vindea Toscana 2006, and Grappe. My personal preference is the Chianti Reserve and the Il Manuzio which I also bought to bring home to the states. The owner, Andrea Sommaruga greeted us toward the end of the tasting and had the Grappe with us. The Grappe is the best I have tasted in Italy.

By the end of the night we had made great friends with both our small tour group and the entire staff at Panzanello. I really felt as though I just visited a long lost friend and share some great wine together. Don't miss this little Farm if you are travelling

Bellissima esperienza

9/1/23

Super consigliato!
