Visit & Wine Tasting with Picnic Basket at Zeyssolff in Alsace
Here is what's in store for you
At Zeyssolff, the experience begins with a welcome glass of wine, followed by an informative video explaining the Alsatian winemaking process, suitable for both adults and children. Guests are then guided through the family cellar, dating back to 1850, where they can discover century-old oak barrels still used for wine production.
Following the organic conversion of the entire estate in 2020, Zeyssolff renovated its cellar to create a unique and immersive experience. Visitors enjoy a 180° immersive video projected directly onto the historic oak barrels – a unique experience in France. This film is not a technical explanation of winemaking, but a personal and emotional story about the winemaker's journey and philosophy, enhanced with sound design and visual mapping for total immersion.
The tour concludes in the wine shop, where guests receive a picnic basket to enjoy in the vineyards or at home. The picnic basket includes a pretzel, bread, a selection of three cheeses, three charcuterie items, a small bottle of water, a piece of fruit, cutlery, a napkin, and a bag with hiking suggestions. A vegetarian option is available upon request.
Children who have booked in advance receive the same picnic basket. Children can also join the tour for free without registration, but they will not be provided with a picnic basket. A guide is available throughout the experience to answer questions and share ideas.
