Vinařství Piálek & JägerSmall winery took Kamil Piálek after his grandfather Cyril . 2004 was the first year when his hobby was set in motion and commercial direction. Since then gradually filled his vision of building a small boutique wineries with exclusive productions. Production is gradually increased from the original 3000 to 10 000 bottles. Wines are processed by technologies which are mixed by experiences taken from his grandfather with a new look by friend from childhood studies Jarda Jäger. From the year 2011 officially joined forces Ing. Kamil Piálek and Jaroslav Jäger in the new company Winery Piálek & Jäger. Jaroslav says: "With viticulture I started as a teenager ". His first own partially fermented wine "must" and wine were produced when he was fifteen at parents cellar in 1998. Than production expanded. The newly established winery now owns four sandstone cellars. The oldest one (300 years old) is modernly equipped and used for making wine. Cellar in Dobsice is used for degustations, but the company plans to reconstruct larger cellar in New Šaldorf (planned renovation in 2012-13). In 2011 a new winery was transferred to capacity of around 40,000 bottles/year from grapes of proven suppliers.

Vinařství ŠpalekThe Špalek winery is based on family winemaking activities started in 1970 by František Špalek, the son of Josef Špalek who moved to Nový Šaldorf in 1945 from the Wallachia region of the former Czechoslovakia. The real start to the business, however, came in 1989 at the end of the communist era, when the new government finally sanctioned private business activities. In addition to the help of his wife, Marta, this family wine business is significantly strengthened by the participation of the two sons, Petr and Marek, who have both studied winemaking and have extensive practical experience in foreign countries. For the last twenty years the Špalek winery has been a regular feature of the local wine scene, and it is well known for its wide range of speciality wines: Šaler (a fortified wine), Sur lie (matured on the lees), Edelspitz (produced using 19th century methods), Barrique (matured in oak barrels) and Gryllus (the brand name for its prestigious cuvée).

Weingut Sepp MoserThe Moser family is one of Austria’s grand, traditional viticultural dynasties. In 1848, Anton Moser started his own wine estate in the village of Rohrendorf. The most famous descendant of the family is the viticulture pioneer Dr. Lenz Moser, who in the 1950s developed the high training system of the vine. Sepp Moser founded the today´s estate in 1987 with vineyards in the Austrian wine-growing areas Kremstal and Neusiedlersee. He ambitiously dedicated himself to creating exquisite wines full of character from best sites. Sepp´s son Nikolaus took over the estate in 2000. As one of the first wine-growers in Austria he converted his vineyards to biodynamics. The ancestral seat of the family is located 70 kilometres west of Vienna, in Rohrendorf, a small village in the Kremstal wine growing area, and just a stone´s throw from the Danube river. Rohrendorf is also known for its picturesque cellar street, which is the longest in Austria. This area is characterized by a permanent exchange of air masses with differing temperatures. While in the east, continental dry and hot air comes up the Danube valley, the cool air from the Waldviertel region to the north streams down the valley of the Krems river. As a result, there are repeated, significant drops in temperatures, especially at night – something that favours, above all, the fruitiness and freshness of the wines. The terraced vineyards of the Sepp Moser estate are composed of loess and conglomerate soils, mainly south-facing, and planted with white varietals. Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, and even the red Blauburgunder (Pinot noir), are cultivated on an area of 24 ha (60 acres).

Ampelos Šlechtitelská Stanice Vinařská Znojmo A.s.Ampelos - jinoch ze starořecké mytologie, s jehož jménem je spojen název vinného keře - ampelos. Odtud původ názvu Ampelografie, což je nauka o odrůdách révy vinné. Podle legendy byl Ampelos největším oblíbencem samotného Dionýsa v jeho družině rozpustile se bavících jinochů. Při jedné společné zábavě vylezl Ampelos na strom a při trhání hroznů visících z révových lián spadl a zabil se. Druhá varianta legendy je, že Ampelos byl zabit bleskem. Která z legend je ta pravá nevíme. Pravdou však je, že Dionýsos byl smrtí svého nejoblíbenějšího druha tak bezmezně nešťastný a naříkal tak silně, až se nad jeho neštěstím smilovali olympští bohové a umístili duši Ampela na nebe uprostřed hvězd. Nově vzniklá hvězda dostala název Vindemiatrix - Vinohradnice a je ji možno najít v souhvězdí Panny. Olympští bohové, aby Dionýsovi zachovali Ampela stále mladého a přítomného, proměnili ho ve vinný keř. Tím, že je každoročně keř révy zmlazován řezem, je stále mladý. V poemě "Dionisiaka" od starořeckého básníka Nonna jsou popisovány příhody Dionýsa a jeho družiny. V této poemě je taktéž zmínka o přeměně Ampela ve vinný keř.V Itálii bylo nalezeno sousoší Dionýsa a Ampela, kde se Ampelos proměňuje ve vinný keř. Sousoší je možno zhlédnout v britském muzeu v Londýně.
