Wine Weekend Experience at B&B Palagetto in San Gimignano

Enjoy an authentic Tuscan getaway with a wine stay experience at the Palagetto estate near San Gimignano, combining relaxation, local cuisine, and a guided wine tasting.

You will stay in a double room furnished in traditional Tuscan rural style, each uniquely decorated and named after a grape variety. The room features a private bathroom with shower or bathtub, as well as all comforts including air conditioning, heating, free Wi-Fi, and satellite TV.

During the warmer months, guests can relax in the panoramic swimming pool surrounded by greenery, offering peaceful views of the Tuscan countryside.

A sweet and savory buffet breakfast is included, served in the restaurant dining room. For dinner, the property offers an on-site restaurant open in the evening, serving traditional Tuscan dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients (dinner not included and payable on site).

Your stay also includes a wine tasting with light lunch at the Palagetto winery, located approximately 1 km from the agriturismo. This experience can be scheduled either on the day of arrival or departure.

After a short introduction to the Palagetto family and their production philosophy, you will visit the barrel room and enjoy a guided tasting of 4 wines (2 white and 2 red). Depending on availability, wines may include the renowned Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG and the Sottobosco blend (Sangiovese, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon).

The tasting is paired with a traditional Tuscan light lunch, including a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, a hot first course, and cantucci with Vin Santo.
