5 In one word: FANTASTIC (Kees)We had booked a tasting for four people for an afternoon at 4:00 PM. It was supposed to last 1.5 hours. The price was €35.00 per person, not cheap, but reasonable. We received an enthusiastic welcome. The hostess took us into the vineyard. She told us all about the vines, the grapes, their successes, but also the disappointments that can come with drought, frost, or too much rain. You could ask her anything; she took her time with her guests. The tasting consisted of five or six wines; we ultimately tried seven or eight. The accompanying snacks were delicious. We finally left after two hours and fifteen minutes.

5 Great tasting in great company (SARA)Very attentive and pleasant winery owners, we took a walk through the vineyards listening to stories about the grapes and the history of the area. We visited the cellar and had a great tasting, so much so that we then bought some wine to take home.

4 Vineyard visit and guided tasting (Marco)We visited Tenuta Baràc in August with a friend and the experience was great from start to finish. The tour starts in the vineyard with a view of the Langhe hills, and then moves to the small cellar where the barrels are kept. The guided tasting included their Barbaresco, as well as other local wines that made us appreciate the different potential of Nebbiolo, accompanied by a board of local cold cuts: a great way to truly get to know the wines of the area. Warm hospitality and clear explanations even for those who are not experts. Recommended for anyone looking for an authentic food and wine stop in the Langhe. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back!

5 Fantastic experience (Laura)The lady who was our guide, very nice, was detailed in explaining all the steps of the harvest and the various processes, with a walk in the vineyards and a magnificent view. To finish, the tasting with appetizers, also very interesting. Exceptional quality of the wines, so much so that we bought them.

5 Guided tour and tasting (Agustin)We went to visit the winery and the vineyard. We had an excellent time sharing wines and conversation with Rita, the person in charge of the tour. We tasted most of the wines they have and for each one, they had us smell different aromas they had in little jars to help us notice the characteristic aromas of each wine. Additionally, they gave us a cheese and cold cuts board for pairing. It was a wonderful experience! A highly recommended place with excellent wines.

4 A beautiful family story (Mariapaola)We were kindly welcomed by Mrs. Nelly who asked us for some information useful for her to tailor her explanation. She accompanied us to see the cellar, told us the family's story and with passion and sweetness guided us in getting to know the Piazzo wines. The table setting was very well-kept, with water, a change of glasses for each wine, and some small pieces of cheese and salami as well as hazelnuts to pair with the different wines. The idea of letting customers choose the wine to taste was lovely. The quality of the wines was excellent, as was the accompanying food and the breadsticks.

3 Fijne wijnproeverij (Loman)De ontvangst was hartelijk en vriendelijk. De host sprak redelijk goed engels. Er was echter 1 Italiaanse gast innde groep die erg veel aandacht kreeg en lange Italiaanse vertaling kreeg van wat wij kort in het engels hadden gehoord. De rondgang tussen de druiven en in de kelder stelde weinig voor, de proeverij was goed en prettig. De host had niet de passie van een echte wijnmaker helaas

The wine tasting took place even though we were the only ones who had registered that day (off-season), for which we were very grateful. For the wine tasting itself, there was a plate with cold cuts of sausage and cheese, which was very delicious and paired wonderfully with the fine wines. We enjoyed the wine tasting very much and can recommend it without reservation. The beautiful location of the winery was also great, and that we could walk there from Alba.

5 Perfect Wine Tasting and Tour with a lot of Information (Alyssa)The wine tasting exceeded our expectations! The sommelier showed us around the premises and into the wine cellar with lots of useful information. At the end we were able to taste 5 wines with small snacks (meat/cheese/crostini) and for each wine she explained again how it was made and why the different areas exist (like Barolo, etc.). She was also open to questions and was able to answer all questions professionally.

3 Visit to Tenuta Barac (Alba) (Andrea)We were shown a section of the vineyard that extends from the estate. From there we then visited the small cellar, with the various barrels. Finally, they had us taste 5 glasses of wine accompanied by a small platter of salami. Overall the visit was satisfactory, also thanks to the girl who acted as our guide, who turned out to be engaging and good.

5 Guided tour: simple but interesting (Laura)My boyfriend and I took a guided tour on a mid-November day and, although the weather wasn't the best, it was a unique experience to be able to walk through the vineyards. The young woman who guided us and explained all the steps for making a good wine was truly great and thorough, using simple and accessible language even for someone who, like me, is a novice. We then continued with the tasting of excellent wines, and even in this phase, we were guided with enthusiasm and expertise. To finish, we couldn't leave without buying some of their excellent bottles.

5 Exceptional experience! (Arianna)We went to Tenuta Barac on November 6th, the place is breathtaking and well-kept. We did a tasting preceded by a guided tour, with a very knowledgeable girl, which was very helpful for then understanding the wines we tasted. The quality is excellent, it's possible to accompany everything with some platters. The wines offered can be purchased, bottles or even just a glass to enjoy outside with a spectacular view. We recommend it and we too will definitely be back!
