5 Excellent wines, excellent host (Peter)On arrival, it’s a farm but gets more charming as the visit progressed. Roberto, our host, was welcoming, friendly and congenial and guided through the vineyards and then an excellent selection of wines - tasting 5 in all accompanied by excellent meat and cheese. The visit was just my wife and I and Roberto which turned into a very interesting discussion of wine, the challenges and Roberto’s plans to maintain his family winery which has been in the family for several hundred years. Very relaxed and fascinating and we both enjoyed the visit……not to mention the local scenery was amazing. We’ll worth the visit and we would strongly recommend. We’ve tried many winery visits but for a down to earth, unpretentious visit…..this was the best!

They shared stories, tales, and love with us, all accompanied by excellent wines of great quality. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Roberto, the owner, with warmth and professionalism, an extraordinary person who passionately conveyed the history and soul of his winery. The tour took place in an intimate and convivial atmosphere, during which we discovered the secrets of wine production, from the lovingly tended vineyards to the winemaking processes, always with a focus on quality. Every detail was attended to with the utmost care, and you could feel the dedication the owner puts into his work. The tasting was the highlight: the wines were simply exceptional, a triumph of aromas and flavors that tell the story of the territory where they are born. Each glass was accompanied by detailed explanations, which allowed us to fully appreciate the unique characteristics of each label. From the fresh and mineral white to the slightly sweet prosecco and the full-bodied and enveloping red, every wine was a masterpiece. The kindness and hospitality of the owner and his parents made everything even more special, making us feel not like mere visitors, but like privileged guests. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves good wine and wants to have an authentic and unforgettable moment. We will definitely be back!

5 Magnificent experience! (Michele)It's the first time I've used Winedering to purchase a tasting. I thought I would have a quick and formal experience, something "hit and run" and instead... Kaila (I hope I spelled it right) welcomed me as only "someone who cares about their work" knows how. She accompanied me around the estate, telling me the family history and making me understand what the work behind each product meant to them. The wine tasting was fantastic, it all took place under a portico with a view of Val d'Orcia (but in case of bad weather they also have a dedicated area!). I think I can only recommend both Tenuta San Gregorio and Winedering for the experience!

5 Nobody does it (Giulia)A small family-run farm in the heart of Chianciano. At the entrance you can admire the avenue surrounded by the property's vineyards. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by the three generations of producers who accompanied us to visit the stable of Chianina cattle for meat, afterwards we moved on to the production and aging area for their wine products. Next we moved to the intimate and familiar tasting room where we were able to taste their seven wines characteristic of the territory, accompanied by platters of local cured meats and cheeses and bruschetta with oil produced by them. Highly recommended for their friendliness and passion for the history of their territory. Their organic products are excellent and represent the quality of this wonderful part of Tuscany.

Roberto and his parents surprised us with a family-like welcome full of attention to detail. Good company and pleasant chats, in a relaxed atmosphere, made us discover more about the wine, the methods of production and preservation. The wines and products of the tasting were excellent. An experience that I recommend.

(Daniela)La Cignozza farm is not just a place for a tasting of excellent wines, but a convivial place where you can share and spend hours in great company amidst chats and laughter. Roberto and his family welcomed us like friends, we opened some excellent bottles together (Nessunolofa was my favorite), snacked on local products and savored an excellent homemade peach cake. 5 An afternoon among wonderful people and excellent wine (Valentina)Roberto welcomed us to his winery with grace and cheerfulness, giving us a tour of his wonderful vineyards and telling us the story of his business. We then received a lovely explanation of how the actual cellar works, where his grapes are transformed with passion and wisdom into his excellent wines. The tasting was well beyond our expectations: in an informal and cheerful setting we had the great pleasure of also meeting Roberto's family, his mom and his dad, who welcomed us like family and with whom we shared both other stories about the company's more distant history and more personal chats. Roberto had us taste his high-quality wines with an abundant platter of local cured meats and cheeses, while our two little girls were free to play in the courtyard with a splendid litter of kittens. Without the slightest pressure we asked to buy a few bottles of wine and after a good 3 hours we took our leave from this unique experience, which left us sincerely enriched. We will recommend to all our friends passing through the Sienese area to go visit Roberto and if we have the chance we will also return to say hello to him and his wonderful family.

1 Good wine but the experience is not worth the price (Giulia)The wine (5 tastings) was very good, of truly excellent quality. The snacks, however, in my opinion, were absolutely not proportional to 5 wine tastings, in fact we got heartburn. I believe that for 25 euros it would have been more appropriate to have a few more snacks. We had: 4 wafer-thin slices of salami, two slices of prosciutto, two half slices of bread with oil and two tiny pieces of cheese. Furthermore, we had a 2-hour tour, which lasted 30 min less because family guests arrived for a barbecue. We were invited several times to stay out of kindness, but being a family dinner we would have felt really out of place so we refused. We would have preferred that the owner had not accepted our reservation, seeing as he had another commitment in the 2-hour slot. So to recap: tour lasted less time, excellent wines, very scarce food. I therefore recommend buying wine from them (however I don't know the prices because they weren't even mentioned to us for a possible purchase) but I do not recommend the 25 euro tasting experience because in my opinion it's not worth it.
