In a region where wine-growing has long been a tradition, Tenimenti Leone was born out of the aspiration to enhance the potential of this land. Our desire to return to our origins and re-discover what is genuine in the world has led us to take on a significant challenge: promote a region that is not so well-known by showcasing its real potential. We want to share genuine values, bonafide products, and the real heart and soul of our company, and move away from the formality that has always been linked to the wine trade. In an area that had been ‘forgotten’ a great project has begun to revive something really beautiful.

Gaffino is a family-run winery that has been producing wines since 1961, deeply connected to its region near Rome, which boasts over two millennia of winemaking tradition. The estate covers 32 hectares, with 28 planted with vines, thriving on volcanic soils at the ideal altitude. Every bottle produced by Gaffino is made exclusively from their own grapes, ensuring that the family maintains full control over quality from vine to bottle. The winery combines modern winemaking with respect for tradition, with each wine reflecting the land’s unique character and the family’s passion for the craft. Gaffino’s location, just a few kilometers south of Rome, was historically chosen by the Romans for its fertile soils and perfect conditions for vine cultivation. With a geographical position that offers excellent exposure and volcanic soils rich in nutrients, the winery produces balanced, high-quality wines. The commitment to using only estate-grown grapes ensures a hands-on approach to winemaking, where the family’s passion and heritage shine through.
