Wilhelmshof Winery, located in the Pfalz region and nestled within an amphitheater of dramatic cliffs in Siebeldingen, expertly blends tradition with modern innovation, drawing inspiration from French winemaking practices. Wilhelm Jung Jr. began the winery's journey in 1949, and in 1975, Herbert Roth and Christa Roth-Jung, both highly trained enology graduates, took the helm, ushering in a new era of excellence. Their approach combines time-honored techniques with contemporary advancements, resulting in wines of exceptional quality. The winery’s sparkling wines have garnered numerous accolades, including Germany’s Best Sparkling Producer in 2018 and the Falstaff Sekt Trophy Blanc de Noirs 2018. Wilhelmshof places great emphasis on sustainable viticulture, showing deep respect for the soil, climate, environment, and vineyards. With a winemaking heritage spanning 350 years, the Wilhelmshof family has always embraced a spirit of innovation. From the pioneering efforts of grandfather Wilhelm to the present day, each generation has been driven by a desire to explore new ideas and developments. At Wilhelmshof, tradition and modernity are seamlessly intertwined, with sustainability at the core of the winery’s philosophy. Respect for nature and resources remains a guiding principle, reflecting the family’s long-standing commitment to responsible and forward-thinking viticulture.
