Excellente dégustation et super accueil

Nous avons passé un moment très agréable avec visite des vignes, de la cave, puis dégustation à choix de 3 vins accompagnée d’excellents fromages et charcuteries. Les 2 vigneronnes étaient extrêmement sympathiques. Super rapport qualité-prix.

La cantina Amelio Livio è una piccola realtà di conduzione familiare. Dal ricevimento fino al saluto siamo stati accompagnati da Daniela, una delle proprietarie dell'eredità lasciata dal bisnonno, passando dal nonno, al papà, fino, appunto, a Daniela ed Arianna.
Daniela, molto gentile ed educata, ci ha trascinato nella storia della sua famiglia e della produzione del loro vino.
Cantina e paesaggio spettacolari.
Abbiamo poi effettuato la degustazione di 3 vini a scelta, noi poi abbiamo aggiunto una quarta degustazione a parte, guidati sempre dai consigli di Daniela. Così, abbiamo provato il Cortese bianco leggermente frizzante, il Grignolino, il Ruchè e un altro bianco, di cui non ricordo bene il nome anche se ricordo l'uva di origine francese. Uno più interessante dell'altro, specialmente il tipico Ruchè, dagli odori incredibili.
Consiglio vivamente una visita a questa semplice ma magnifica cantina.

Ps ci sono anche prodotti locali di aziende vicino, noi abbiamo preso, oltre ai vini, una marmellata e dell'ottimo miele!

Una cantina piccola a conduzione familiare. Daniela ci ha accompagnato nel tour, e rispondendo con pazienza alle domande curiose del mio bambino di 5 anni, trasmetteva passione per il lavoro e le tradizioni di famiglia. La degustazione ha confermato le mie alte aspettative con la qualità dei vini scelti e le prelibatezze del tagliere.

The Amelio Livio winery is a family-run business with a winemaking tradition that has been passed down through several generations. The origins of the estate date back to the early 1900s when Giuseppe’s grand-grandfather built the family home, which still houses the cellar today. Over the years, the family’s dedication to cultivating vines and producing high-quality wines grew, and in 1984, Livio Amelio took the helm of the winery, modernizing production techniques while maintaining the authenticity of the family's winemaking legacy.

Today, Livio’s daughters, Arianna and Daniela, represent the fourth generation, continuing the tradition with the same passion and dedication that has defined the estate for over a century. At Amelio Livio, we produce a range of wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the Monferrato region. Our flagship wine, the Ruchè of Castagnole Monferrato D.O.C.G. "Primordio", showcases the rare and aromatic Ruchè grape, known for its floral and spicy notes. We also offer two Barbera wines: the Barbera d'Asti Superiore D.O.C.G. "Lasoleggiata", a rich and full-bodied red, and the Barbera d'Asti D.O.C. "Generazioni", which embodies the tradition and vibrancy of the Barbera variety.

In addition, we produce the Grignolino d'Asti D.O.C., a lighter red wine with fresh, fruity flavors, and the Piemonte D.O.C. Viognier "Orizzonti", a unique white wine that reflects the versatility and innovation of our winery.
