Sometimes the most ambitious projects were born unconsciously... They develop and grow in a harmonious way, slowly, following their own natural inclinations. This is how Cannito’s farm business was born, a prodigy in the agro industrial sector which has lasted for 70 years. Led by the spirit of innovation of Francesco Cannito – who adopted the methods of biological agriculture in 1994 – the business farm is now a strong, future-oriented company. Its style led to the creation of “Cannito” products’ line, a perfect match between culture, quality and taste of the Murgia Barese.

In a fascinating atmosphere of lights and colours, Cannito’s farm business is about 50 hectares of unspoiled nature. It is mainly characterised by olive groves, which produce about 200.000 bottles of biological extra virgin olive oil per year through a bio-certificated procedure of cold pressing. Every year Cannito’s vineyards produce 50.000 wine's bottles: 70% Primitivo Doc Gioia del Colle Drùmon, 10% red Doc Gioia Del Colle Scudo Sannita, 10% white Igt Puglia Fiano, 5% rosè Doc Gioia del Colle Drùmon and 5% Primitivo Passito Mezzaluna. There are also almond and cherry aimed at producing fresh fruits
