Good wine - amazing guide
They have very good classics, but also some special wines.
After the tour we stayed there and just drank wine and got apero for the whole afternoon.
Special thanks to Ana for dealing with our slightly drunk asses.
Don’t make plans - you can stay as long as you want

About Winery and Wines
Fedrizzi Vini, located in the Colli Bolognesi region of Emilia-Romagna, represents a modern approach to winemaking deeply rooted in tradition.
Founded by Alessandro Fedrizzi, who began his journey into viticulture at a young age, the winery is a testament to his passion and dedication. Alessandro, along with his family, manages vineyards spread across Valsamoggia and Zola Predosa, specializing in sustainable, organic farming practices. With just under 4 hectares of vineyards at Castello di Serravalle, including a prized Barbera vineyard adjacent to a medieval village, Fedrizzi Vini produces distinctive wines that capture the essence of the region. The winery's commitment to innovation is evident in its practices, such as manual disgorgement and organic conversion, which began in 2021.
Fedrizzi Vini is renowned for its expressive sparkling wines, with more than 50% of production focused on bottle re-fermentation, particularly for Pignoletto and Barbera. These wines are carefully crafted, reflecting the vibrant spirit of Emilia-Romagna. The Pignoletto Superiore, exclusively sourced from the Castello di Serravalle vineyard, epitomizes the winery's dedication to quality.
The reds, including the Serravalle Barbera Riserva 2017, are fresh and approachable, with the Barbera Riserva marking a new chapter for the winery by offering a full-bodied experience with rich structure and complexity. The estate's diverse vineyard portfolio includes less than 4 hectares, featuring old vines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Angela grapes, and Pignoletto near the medieval village, enhancing the winery's offerings.
Fedrizzi Vini's Pignoletto Frizzante DOCG Colli Bolognesi is a standout sparkling wine, characterized by its golden yellow hue and aromas of ripe fruit and fresh spring flowers, making it an ideal pairing with traditional dishes like tortellini in broth. The reds, including the Serravalle Barbera Riserva 2017, offer a fresh and modern approach, with a focus on balance and harmony. The winery’s innovative spirit is also evident in its recent plantings of resistant Johanniter and Bronner vines, as well as its experimentation with a new Bianco Bologna and classic method Riesling. This dedication to tradition, quality, and innovation defines Fedrizzi Vini's winemaking philosophy.
