About Winery and Wines

The estate is located in the heart of Romagna in the province of Ravenna. It's divided into two 10-hectare sites: one extends over the plain of Faenza and grows kiwis, persimmons; the other lies on the hills of Brisighella and grows vines and olives. The estate is run by brothers Antonio and Cesare Gallegati, who put all their training and passion into the production of quality DOCG (controlled and guaranteed denomination of origin) wines. The principal grape varieties grown on the estate are Sangiovese and Albana, both indigenous to Romagna and responsible for wines with great character, elegance and complexity. A limited amount of white wine is produced using the latest winemaking techniques. As an environmentally-aware concern, the estate implements production regulations designed to promote respect for the environment and for quality of life.
