About Winery and Wines
Vallepicciola, located in the heart of Chianti Classico near Castelnuovo Berardenga, Siena, is a vast estate covering 265 hectares. The winery blends tradition with innovation, respecting the environment through sustainable architecture and practices. Our vineyards span 107 hectares, growing both traditional Sangiovese and international varieties like Pinot Nero, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. With carefully selected soils ranging from clay to sandstone, each vine expresses the unique terroir of the region, producing wines that honor our land’s natural beauty and history.
Vallepicciola's wines reflect the diversity of the Chianti Classico region. While Sangiovese forms the backbone of our Chianti Classico, our vineyards also yield international varieties like Pinot Nero, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc for our IGT Tuscan wines. Our focus on sustainable viticulture and careful soil selection allows us to create wines of distinct character, whether it’s a rich Chianti Classico or a refined Chardonnay. Each bottle is a tribute to our dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and the unique terroir of our estate.
