A picture perfect experience

While I was planning my trip to Italy, I knew I wanted to try out a wine tasting experience. I did a little research and came across azienda bio De Sanctis. Honestly I had no expectations. I wanted to do something fun with my boyfriend.
This turned out to be the most beautiful, informative experience.
Flavia greeted us and even though we were 20 mins late she was very accommodating.
She walked us through the property, Her English is perfect. The tour took a good 35 mins. She was very thoral and answered all our questions.
When the tour was over, she took us to a beautiful living space where we sampled the wines while pairing them with specific foods.
It was an experience I will never forget and I'm sure will be hard to beat.

Come a casa

Siamo stati benissimo. Siamo stati prima accompagnati nella vigna per osservare i filari e scoprire la loro storia e quella della zona circostante. Poi abbiamo esplorato il laboratorio dove nasce il vino e infine la cantina, davvero un posto suggestivo. Infine abbiamo gustato gli ottimi vini accompagnati da prodotti locali e non solo. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il panorama, e l'accoglienza che ci ha fatto sentire da subito tra amici.

Buona cantina a due passi da Roma

Buona cantina e vino vulcanici, in particolare malvasia, interessanti.
Buon tagliere di prodotti tipici incluso nella degustazione.
Buona guida in cantina e vigneto.
Peccato per il poco tempo passato lì, sarebbe stato bello poter proseguire con pranzo e test altre bottiglie!
È stato bello, torneremo.

About Winery and Wines

The De Sanctis family has been cultivating the vineyards since 1816, however in the last 10 years we have tried to strongly renew their production, carrying out a process of redevelopment of the product. In fact, the wine of Frascati is culturally understood as a wine of poor quality, to be served as "house wine" in the trattorias of the great Rome and this slows down the rise of niche products that instead aim at the maximum organoleptic qualities. We believe it is important to tell us about the importance and value of local products that can sometimes offer a unique experience. The Organic Company De Sanctis is located in Frascati in the Castelli Romani area south of Rome. The territory on which the company stands is of volcanic origin. In particular, the De Sanctis Company is located within what was Lake Regillo which belongs to the largest crater of the Lazio volcano, a place rich in history.

Three of our organic wines will be tasted for tasting.

We produce 6 lines:

-Abelos Frascati Superiore DOCG, Malvasia puntinata and bombino

-496, Frascati Superiore DOCG, Malvasia puntinata and Trebbiano toscano

-Amacos, malvasia puntinata and bombino, aging for 6 months in large oak barrels

-Iuno IGT Lazio Rosso, Cabernet Franc in purity, 1 year of aging in barrique

-Onde, IGT Lazio Rosé from Cabernet Franc;

-Cannellino di Frascati DOCG, sweet wine muffato from Malvasia harvested late
