Tradition, Authenticity, Innovation and Excellence are the values that have guided Cantina Cantarutti since its creation in the late 1960s. Set in one of the most beautiful and scenic hilly areas of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, the current property comprises 76 hectares, 33 of which are planted with high quality vineyards on the Rosazzo hills and 21 hectares still planted with vines, cultivated on their slopes in the Friuli Grave DOC zone.

Historically, the hills surrounding the Abbey of Rosazzo have always produced wines of extraordinary quality, and there is evidence that as early as 1400 wines from this area crossed the Italian borders and in 1500 were served at the imperial table, and in great demand by patriarchs and ecclesiastics. Cantina Cantarutti, thanks to the dislocation of the vineyards between the plain and the hills, is able to cultivate different varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Merlot, Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco, Ribolla Gialla, Sauvignon, Pinot Nero, Pignolo and Merlot.
