Bodega Finca Torremilanos

Winery in Ribera del Duero

About the Winery

Torremilanos' winemaking tradition dates back to 1903, but it was in 1975 when the Peñalba Lopez family acquired the estate and elevated it to new heights. Guided by a deep respect for the land and a belief in the potential of the indigenous Tempranillo grape, Pablo Peñalba expanded the vineyards to the 200 hectares that the family now owns. Nestled in the mountains near the winery, the vineyards are cultivated with a strong commitment to sustainability and respect for nature, resulting in all wines being certified organic. Our philosophy is rooted in harmony with the environment, ensuring that every bottle reflects our dedication to quality and tradition.

About the Wines

At Torremilanos, the quality of our wines is a direct result of the care and attention we give to every step of the winemaking process. The vineyards, located in the mountains surrounding the winery, benefit from unique terroirs, ideal climate conditions, and sustainable farming practices. Our wines are crafted with Tempranillo, the signature grape of the region, and aged in our own cooperage, allowing for a distinct and refined character. The combination of high-quality grapes, organic viticulture, and traditional aging methods ensures that each wine offers exceptional complexity and depth.

Exciting visit to the world of wine!
We took the tour of the Torremilanos winery with the exceptional guide Carlos, who made us have a very pleasant time, giving us a very interesting and exciting vision of the world of wine with very curious facts, history, and wine experience, and with a great sense of humor. You can tell he likes what he does and he conveys a great passion for the knowledge of the wine harvest. A totally recommendable and gratifying experience thanks to Carlos, in addition to enjoying the wonderful facilities of the Torremilanos winery.

Fun and interesting winetour!
Very pleasant host who told a lot of interesting facts about Ribera. Recommended a fantastic lunch address. Spain at its best. Afterwards a very agreeable tasting with snacks. Luckily the wine is also for sale in Amsterdam. Worth visiting!
