Botto vini
About the Winery
Botto Vini, rooted in the heart of Monferrato, has been linked to winemaking for over five generations. Since 1994, the family has harnessed both tradition, passed down from the monks of the Convento dei Cappuccini, and modern technology to craft high-quality wines at their winery in Ricaldone. Nestled among the rolling hills of a UNESCO World Heritage site, the winery is dedicated to sustainable practices, combining deep respect for the environment with innovation to produce wines that truly reflect the terroir of Alto Monferrato.
About the Wines
Botto Vini produces a diverse range of wines, with a focus on native varieties from the Monferrato region. Their red wines, including Barbera and Dolcetto, showcase the depth and richness of the local soils, while their whites and rosés offer freshness and balance. By blending modern winemaking techniques with traditional practices, each wine captures the essence of the region's unique microclimate and landscape, ensuring both quality and sustainability in every bottle.

From the Vineyard to the Wine, passing through the Convent
We started from the convent, the place where the wine was originally made. Afterwards we went to see the large expanses of vineyards and then arrived at the new cellar, where they carry out all the fermentation and bottling work.
We had a nice tasting of 6 wines with plenty of salami and cheeses, accompanied by focaccia and breadsticks.
I highly recommend it to everyone!
