About the Winery
Boutique Winery Vicelić – Organic Dingač Excellence from Pelješac.
Boutique Winery Vicelić is a certified organic family winery located on the Pelješac Peninsula, near Dubrovnik, in the heart of the prestigious Dingač appellation. Rooted in generations of tradition and driven by a deep respect for nature, we are dedicated to producing authentic, terroir-driven wines from Croatia’s most iconic grape variety – Plavac Mali.
Our vineyards have been organically certified since 2017. We cultivate them without synthetic chemicals, herbicides, or artificial fertilizers, preserving the purity of the land and the unique microclimate of the steep Dingač slopes. Every grape is hand-harvested, and all our wines ferment spontaneously with indigenous (wild) yeasts, allowing the true character of the vintage and terroir to express itself naturally.
Dingač is one of Croatia’s most renowned wine regions, famous for its dramatic south-facing vineyards overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The combination of intense sunlight, reflective sea light, rocky karst soils, and cooling sea breezes creates powerful yet elegant wines with remarkable depth, structure, and aging potential.
At Boutique Winery Vicelić, we focus on small production and uncompromising quality. Our wines are bold, complex, and refined – crafted for true wine lovers seeking authenticity and character.
We offer exclusive, highly personal tasting experiences for small groups, where guests can discover our organic philosophy, walk through our vineyards, and taste our wines in an intimate setting. For those wishing to explore the full flavors of Pelješac, we also offer curated wine and oyster experiences, combining our premium wines with fresh local oysters from nearby farms.
Boutique Winery Vicelić is not just a winery – it is a story of heritage, passion, and dedication to organic excellence in one of the Mediterranean’s most spectacular wine landscapes.
About the Wines
The Pure Expression of Dingač
At Boutique Winery Vicelić, our wines are born from the dramatic, sun-drenched slopes of Dingač on the Pelješac Peninsula. Crafted exclusively from Plavac Mali, Croatia’s most prestigious indigenous red grape variety, each bottle reflects the power of the terroir and the authenticity of organic viticulture.
Organic by Nature, Authentic by Philosophy
Our vineyards have been organically certified since 2017. We cultivate our vines without synthetic chemicals, herbicides, or artificial fertilizers, respecting the natural balance of soil and ecosystem. All grapes are harvested by hand on the steep, rocky slopes overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous (wild) yeasts, without industrial manipulation. This natural approach allows every vintage to speak for itself and preserves the true identity of Dingač.
Dingač – Strength and Elegance
The unique combination of intense Mediterranean sun, reflective sea light, karst limestone soils, and constant sea breezes creates wines of remarkable concentration and structure. Yet beneath their power lies refinement and elegance.
Our wines are characterized by:
- Deep ruby to garnet color
- Rich aromas of dark cherry, dried plum, Mediterranean herbs, and subtle spice
- Full body with firm yet polished tannins
- Complex layers of fruit, minerality, and coastal salinity
- Long, persistent finish with excellent aging potential
- Limited production, uncompromising quality
We produce our wines in small quantities, focusing entirely on quality rather than volume. Each bottle represents careful vineyard selection, low yields, and meticulous cellar work.
Our Dingač labels are positioned as premium wines – ideal for fine dining, steakhouses, and collectors seeking powerful yet authentic Mediterranean reds.
