Ceretto Aziende Vitivinicole

Winery in Langhe

About the Winery

Ceretto is one of the most prestigious and visionary wineries in Piedmont, deeply rooted in the exceptional terroirs of the Langhe. The story began in the 1930s with Riccardo Ceretto, who recognized the extraordinary potential of the region’s soils and microclimates for producing world-class wines. His vision was further developed by his sons Bruno and Marcello Ceretto, who expanded the family estate by acquiring vineyards in what are now some of the most celebrated crus of Barolo and Barbaresco.

Today, Ceretto owns around 160 hectares of vineyards and operates through three iconic estates: Monsordo Bernardina in Alba, Bricco Rocche in Castiglione Falletto, and Bricco Asili in Barbaresco. The winery is internationally recognized not only for the quality of its wines, but also for its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the promotion of the Langhe territory and culture.

About the Wines

The wines of Ceretto are among the finest expressions of the Langhe, crafted to highlight the unique identity of each vineyard and appellation. The winery is especially renowned for its Barolo and Barbaresco, elegant and complex wines that reflect the depth, structure, and aging potential of Nebbiolo grown in prestigious crus.

Alongside these iconic reds, Ceretto also produces celebrated wines such as Blangé, an expressive and aromatic Langhe Arneis, as well as high-quality Moscato and other labels that showcase the diversity of Piedmontese viticulture. Through meticulous vineyard management and a philosophy centered on terroir expression, Ceretto creates wines that combine tradition, precision, and refinement, representing the excellence of Piedmont on the international stage.
