Vignobles Chatonnet, a family-owned estate in Néac, produces exceptional wines in Lalande-de-Pomerol, Saint-Émilion, and Montagne Saint-Émilion. Led by renowned oenologist Pascal Chatonnet, the estate combines tradition and innovation through agro-synergy viticulture.

Across 30 hectares, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec grapes are carefully vinified, and the wines are aged in barrels within a semi-underground cellar.

The estate also offers visits, tastings, and seasonal workshops such as harvest and blending experiences. You can also host your private events, including weddings and receptions, in this unique setting.

La Croix Chaigneau - Lalande de Pomerol

•A classic and modern Lalande de Pomerol wine intended to be enjoyed both convivially and without complexes

• On a large family estate respectfully and sustainably managed in Agro-Synergy

• From the young vines of the estate and a selection of particular terroirs allowing to produce fresh fruit and light tannins

• Discreet ageing,  in concrete vats and in foudre but not mostly in barrels to preserve the fruity and balanced side of a Cabernet Franc/Merlot blend at about 50:50

• The Cabernet Franc is bringing a floral red fruitiness and a refreshing acidity to balance the fatter tannin and the riper black fruit and stewed Merlot

• A wine accessible from its youth after 12 months of ageing but which can elegantly develop bottle 3 to 5 years A balanced quality/price ratio to put in a quality wine without financial sacrifice

Haut-Chaigneau - Lalande de Pomerol

• Old vines (more than 35 years)

• Delicate ageing in barrels but with a limited percentage of new wood (<30%) to preserve all the noble fruit attributes of the blended grape varieties (Merlot 85-75% and Cabernet Franc 15-25%) while preparing this blend for ageing potentially long in the bottle (20 years)

La Sergue - Lalande de Pomerol

• From the combination of three great terroirs of the right bank of Bordeaux (gravel on clay near Pomerol in La Pignière early, clay-sandy-gravelly in La Margaux and sandy-silty-clay in La Mirande later)

• On a large family estate respectfully and sustainably managed in Agro-Synergy Old vines (more than 45 years old)

• Combination of three co-fermented grape varieties, respecting the origin of the different terroirs and the degree of maturity of each ones

• Delicate ageing in barrels, with a percentage of new wood varying from 50 to 80%.

•Blended after 14 to 16 months with a combination specific to each vintage to express its original signature

L'Archange - Saint-Emilion

• From a small vineyard of 1.2 ha and about 7000 vines located on the sandy glacis of Saint Emilion but whose secret is its subsoil of blue clay identical to that of the Pomerol plateau:  The clay of its subsoil allows the Merlot to express itself fully thanks to a slow ripening.

•Historically planted with pure Merlot and therefore preserved as it is

• Vinification in the facilities of Vignobles Chatonnet in Néac (hence its Saint-Emilion appellation and not Grand Cru)
