Tenuta Corte Pavone, owned by the Loacker Family, has been crafting bold, unique, and biodynamic wines since 1979.

In 1996, the Loacker family took over Tenuta Corte Pavone, located in the heart of Montalcino, where everything revolves around Sangiovese, terroir, and single vineyards. The estate welcomes visitors with monumental wrought-iron gates, a seemingly endless cypress-lined road, and a breathtaking view over the world-famous wine town of Montalcino — a truly cinematic arrival, impossible to forget.

Upon reaching the estate, guests are invited to experience wine at its finest: expressive bouquets, a memorable mouthfeel, and a stunning landscape of vineyards. Tenuta Corte Pavone is always ready to welcome those who seek an authentic and immersive wine experience.

Hayo Loacker is the man behind the 7 Dynamic Crus, although truth be told, that is not what Hayo does every second of his day on the estate. But that is exactly what makes the Loacker family stand out. 

After years of research and taking demanding measurements with sensitive infrared sensors across the entire Tenuta Corte Pavone, Hayo set up a dynamic micro parcelling of the land, dividing it into different areas to define seven individual single vineyards of Brunello – the ‘7 DYNAMIC BRUNELLO CRUS’. The crus are dynamic because the final grape selection is optimised individually every year with new measurements taken within the individual area during the harvesting period.
