Domaine SAUVETE

The estate was founded in 1905 by Georges Sauvète; five generations have since taken the helm in directing it. Since 2020, Mathilde, the first female winemaker in the family, has been managing the estate.

"Together with my team, we work in our vineyards throughout the year, harvest all our grapes, vinify them with passion, and offer a complete range of wines that reflect our terroirs and winemaking methods."

18 hectares under appellations: Touraine Chenonceaux, Touraine, and Crémant de Loire. The vineyard has been farmed organically since 2000 and certified by Ecocert for 25 years.

"We have been transitioning towards biodynamics for five years, fully respecting the biodiversity within our vineyard and soils. Herbal teas, biodynamic preparations, and adherence to the lunar calendar are now an integral part of our daily practices."
