About Winery and Wines
In the heart of the Ribera del Duero, you will find a winery with an extraordinary history: the Dominio del Pidio. For a thousand years, Quintana del Pidio has supplied wine to Castilian knights, abbeys and warriors. Its vineyards have generated mystery, legends and heroic deeds.
The Aragon family of winegrowers discovered that the only way to recover traditional values was to do so by recapturing the past. So, they decided to restore an area of 16th century underground cellars in the historic wine village of Quintana del Pidio. Red, white and rosé wines are produced in the Dominio del Pidio. These three wines are elaborated respecting the origins and traditional winemaking techniques.
