Dominio di Bagnoli's heart beats within its historic cellar, one of the oldest structures of the former Benedictine convent. For centuries, this ancient space with its thick walls and gothic double-vaulted ceiling has been a sanctuary for aging wine in large French oak barrels of 5000 liters and smaller barriques. This underground treasure trove, with its constant humidity and temperature, provides the perfect environment for the maturation of fine wines. Next to this historical setting, the modern vinification cellar, equipped with advanced technology, handles the winemaking process with expert precision. Visitors to the estate can also discover an interesting collection of antique barrels, wine presses, and agricultural tools, a testament to the centuries-old winemaking heritage.

At Dominio di Bagnoli, we produce a variety of red and white wines, with many aged in large oak casks. Our most prized grape is the ancient, indigenous Friularo di Bagnoli, now recognized as a DOCG wine. Known for its robust acidity and tannins, the Friularo di Bagnoli creates versatile wines capable of long aging. Its rich, complex flavors are complemented by a bouquet that includes distinctive notes of morello cherries. In addition to this bold red, we also produce a rare blanc de noirs sparkling wine made from Friularo, offering a fresh, mineral-driven profile that reflects the uniqueness of our region.
