Fattoria Ca' Rossa is a family-owned winery nestled in the verdant hills of Bertinoro, in the province of Forlì-Cesena. For three generations, the Masotti family has dedicated themselves to viticulture and olive cultivation, embodying a deep commitment to the land and a passion for producing exceptional wines. Our estate spans 12 hectares, ideally positioned to benefit from the region's abundant sunshine, fresh dews, and timely rains that nurture our vines throughout the growing season. Fattoria Ca' Rossa produces a diverse and distinguished range of wines, each showcasing the unique terroir of Bertinoro and the traditional winemaking techniques of Romagna. Among our offerings is the ARTUSIANO Sangiovese Forlì I.G.P. 2021, a pure Sangiovese with a bold 14.5% alcohol content, bottle-refermented for added complexity. The CAVALCAONTE Barbera Forlì I.G.P. 2020 is another standout, a pure Barbera at 16% alcohol, which has been recognized as the second-best Italian red wine with a score of 97/99. Our CESUBEO Rosso Forlì I.G.P. 2018, a blend of seven red grape varieties, offers a rich 15% alcohol content, while the N° 735 Sangiovese Forlì I.G.P. 2018 matures for two years in barrique, resulting in a refined Sangiovese with 14.5% alcohol. The RIPAGRANDE Sangiovese Forlì I.G.P. Riserva 2016 further elevates the Sangiovese experience with three years in barrique and an impressive 15% alcohol, earning a score of 97/99 as the second-best Italian red wine. We also produce the MUFIT Bianco I.G.P. Forlì 2019, a dry Malvasia with Botrytis Cinerea at 14.5% alcohol. Our sparkling PLACIDIA BRUT and late-harvest PLACIDIA Bianco Forlì I.G.P. wines made from Albana Gentile di Bertinoro, as well as the PLACIDIA NOBILE Bianco Forlì I.G.P., demonstrate our versatility in winemaking. The 1935 ULTIMA Bianco Forlì I.G.P. 2020 is an orange wine made from Albana, the last vine planted in 1935, with 16% alcohol.
