La Fattoria del Teso sorge nel Comune di Montecarlo, un pittoresco borgo medioevale tra Lucca, Pisa e Firenze. In uno scenario tipicamente toscano, circondata da pini e cipressi, copre un territorio di circa 70 ettari. La Fattoria del Teso ha avuto sempre come suoi obiettivi la conservazione dell’ambiente naturale e la coltivazione di prodotti tipici e genuini. I vini della Fattoria del Teso si sono sempre contraddistinti per rappresentare la tipicità del “terroir” di Montecarlo. Sia i bianchi che i rossi manifestano al degustatore da subito i propri caratteri di eleganza e raffinatezza. Presso la Fattoria del Teso si organizzano tour guidati per piccoli e grandi gruppi oltre che a wine tasting accompagnati da gustosissime pietanze. E’ possibile scegliere di degustare vini di eccellenza nella storica cantina di conservazione, tra le antiche botti e nei piccoli e suggestivi angoli relax creati all’esterno. Fattoria del Teso is located in the municipality of Montecarlo, a picturesque medieval village between Lucca, Pisa and Florence. In a typical Tuscan scenario, surrounded by pines and cypresses, it covers a territory of about 70 hectares. The wines of Fattoria del Teso have always distinguished themselves to represent the typical "terroir" of Montecarlo. Both whites and reds immediately show off their characteristics of elegance and sophistication. At the Fattoria del Teso there are guided tours for small and large groups as well as wine tastings accompanied by tasty dishes. It is possible to choose to taste wines of excellence in the historic conservation cellar, between the ancient barrels and in the small and evocative relaxation corners created outside.

Fattoria del Teso covers an area of 50 hectares of land. of which 20 hectares are covered by vineyards of the following grape varieties: Vermentino, Trebbiano, Colombana, Sauvignon Blanc and Verdea for the white varieties;Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot as well as a little quality of Ciliegiolo e Colorino for the red varieties. All wines are obtained only with grapes produced in the winery. Fattoria del Teso produces the following wines: Montecarlo Rosso DOC Montecarlo Bianco DOC IGT Bianco di Toscana IGT Rosso di Toscana "Anfidiamante" Vinsanto DOC - sweet wine. Current vintage is 2002. Fattoria del Teso is one of the few wineries that produce such an old Vinsanto. Fattoria del Teso's Vinsanto is aged in small chestnut barrels which were bought in the seventies from a scotch whisky distillery.
