2 Less than optimal (Jeffrey)The winery provided 7 wines to taste (based on what we purchased), all their lower priced wines. They were OK but we never had the opportunity to taste their higher priced wines. It is the first time I have ever been to a winery and did not buy their wines. A lost opportunity for the producer.

Well worth the money. We should have planned our trip back to Lucca better as difficult to get a local taxi.

5 Authentic and Hands-On (Kate)My family of 5 which included three daughters aged 8, 10 and 13 all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! It was an intimate and authentic experience for all. We were hosted by the owner of the vineyard (which has been in her family for centuries) and the in house sommelier/wine grower. We prepared a multi-course meal adjusted to the abilities of our children followed by a sit down meal with wine tastings paired. It was one of our my memorable activities during our three week trip to Italy!

5 Fabulous wine tasting at Tenuta San Beda (Michelle)Had a wonderful time with David and Francesca at this intimate family and truly amazing vineyard . We were treated to 5 glasses of different wine along with delicious food, meats and cheeses. To end we also had their ‘brandy’. The quality of the wine was excellent. It is clear the amount of passion that is put into the production of the wines. Lovely people - we learnt a lot and couldn’t resist buying some to take home with us.

David and Francesca were the perfect hosts, making us feel more like friends than paying guests. The wines and accompanying food were delicious, made more so by David's indepth knowledge of grape growing and wine production. We highly recommend a visit to Tenuta San Beda. You won't regret it!

5 Wonderful tasting (Michela)Small family-run vineyard and olive grove, a stunning panorama immersed in peace and tranquility. A simple but detailed guided tour with many explanations for our questions. A wonderful tasting of 8 wines which were paired with typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine, it was truly a great discovery, so much so that we decided to buy their wines and oil to be able to savor them again. Truly kind and helpful staff, especially the young man (unfortunately I don't remember his name) who was with us for our entire journey, from arrival to farewell. I highly recommend it for a few hours of pure relaxation and taste.

5 Wine Tasting with a Light Lunch (Carmen)The tasting was wonderful. Very detailed explanation about the winery, the wines, as well as the production of the olive oil. The wines are very good and the food that was served with the wine tasting (different types of bread with olive oil, spaghetti with pesto, bruschetta, zucchini quiche, ravioli with tomato sauce, carrot quiche, raw ham, salami, cheese and a small piece of cake with the dessert wine). The winery is highly recommended. The value for money is very good. We would book this wine tasting again just like this anytime.

4 A great experience with small starting difficulties (Andreas)We had booked a German cooking class with an included wine tasting. Upon our arrival, however, there was no one on site who could speak German. So we communicated with the nice chef in English. After a short time, however, the interpreter was also on site. As compensation, there was a free bottle of wine. Many thanks for the lovely time at the winery!
