5 Geweldig (Madhu)Wij hadden de wijnproeverij ‘gourmet tasting’ geboekt. Deze was 40 euro per persoon en was het meer dan waard. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Francesca en we startte gelijk met een uitleg over hoe de wijnen gemaakt werden en kregen een aantal filmpjes te zien. Vervolgens gingen we door naar het proeven. We kregen de 4 verschillende wijnen die ze maken allemaal te proeven en deze waren stuk voor stuk heerlijk en je krijgt een goed vol glas. We mochten zelfs aan het eind nog een glas van de wijn die wij het lekkerste vonden Ook kregen we allerlei vers gemaakt eten wat echt verrukkelijk was. We kregen ook de honing en de olijfolie te proeven die ze daar ook zelf maakten. Deze waren ook heerlijk.

5 Amazing al fresco wine tasting (Harriet)Highly recommend - we had an amazing wine tasting here, we got to try 4 wines (sparkling, white, rose and a red) as well as lots of food to accompany. Everything was paired so well and delicious, and we learnt a lot about the wine without it to being too much. The staff were so friendly and could tell they really cared about the wine. The location was also very pretty with lovely tables set under trees and looking out onto the vineyard. Definitely recommend!!

The hostess was very kind and explained us with a lot of motivation not only about the products but also how to use them and we were able to visit her small but interesting cellar. 5 Authentic and Hands-On (Kate)My family of 5 which included three daughters aged 8, 10 and 13 all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! It was an intimate and authentic experience for all. We were hosted by the owner of the vineyard (which has been in her family for centuries) and the in house sommelier/wine grower. We prepared a multi-course meal adjusted to the abilities of our children followed by a sit down meal with wine tastings paired. It was one of our my memorable activities during our three week trip to Italy!

It is a very pretty vineyard and is a great stop for anyone on their way to or from Lucca or Cinque Terre. It's quite small so no one should be expecting a multi-building tour that some larger vineyards might offer.

5 Excellent Toscana wine tasting experience! (Kelly)We would definitely recommend visiting Cantine Tenuta Mariani if you're looking for an authentic Toscana wine tasting experience! We tried a selection of wine and our guide gave us a background on each sort as well as time to enjoy the wine and food. The selection of antipasto came from the region or even the farm itself. The appetizers were also regularly replenished throughout our visit. The staff were very friendly and we received a small tour of the vineyards afterwards. The location is beautiful and very nicely decorated for an authentic rustic Italian feel. We would definitely recommend booking this experience!

Among the 4 wines we were offered the white and the red which was only San Gervaiso grapes were best. Wasn’t very fond of the rose. Honey was also delicious.

We were treated to 5 glasses of different wine along with delicious food, meats and cheeses. To end we also had their ‘brandy’. The quality of the wine was excellent. It is clear the amount of passion that is put into the production of the wines. Lovely people - we learnt a lot and couldn’t resist buying some to take home with us.

5 Wonderful tasting (Michela)Small family-run vineyard and olive grove, a stunning panorama immersed in peace and tranquility. A simple but detailed guided tour with many explanations for our questions. A wonderful tasting of 8 wines which were paired with typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine, it was truly a great discovery, so much so that we decided to buy their wines and oil to be able to savor them again. Truly kind and helpful staff, especially the young man (unfortunately I don't remember his name) who was with us for our entire journey, from arrival to farewell. I highly recommend it for a few hours of pure relaxation and taste.
