Herdade do Freixo is an agricultural company located in northeastern Alentejo, in the municipality of Redondo. Herdade do Freixo focuses its main activity on wine production utilizing grape varieties that have a high potential to adapt to the soil and climate of the property, innovating in the productive details, which give character and savoir-faire to their wines. With a dimension of about 300 ha of pure Alentejo, in the village of Freixo, between Serra D'Ossa and Évora, the greatest ambition of Herdade do Freixo is the genuine preservation of this rural landscape and that its wines convey the best of this essence of their land, its vineyards and the terroir.

Inspired by the rural landscape and the vineyard, the wines of Herdade do Freixo essentially convey that essence, that of their vineyards and their Terroir. They are genuine Earth wines, which are produced with grape varieties that have proven to adapt better to the climate and soils of the Herdade do Freixo estate, and at the same time, the company dares to innovate with less obvious grape varieties, which enhance the elegance and a differentiating savoir faire.
