About Winery and Wines

Our company, iDivini, is located in Piedmont, on the Monferrato hills in the UNSESCO world heritage buffer zone, which is covered with ancient vineyards. The vineyards of iDivini are all located right next to the winery in a small town called Isola d’Asti, at a stone’s throw from Asti.

We can proudly say that we own vines that are between 75 and 100 years old. The winery itself was founded in 2018. Thanks to the lively and international entrepreneurial spirit of Koen and Anna, combined with the in-depth know-how of the local staff, iDivini has developed into an elegant and modern winery.

As an artisanal winery, we like to focus on fine wines with a unique character. For this reason, we attach great importance to an adequate refinement for each type of wine. Thanks to the use of innovative technology, we can transform our unique quality grapes, into a modern and contemporary wine.

At iDivini we are committed to respecting the roots of the vineyard and we work as much as possible with autochthonous and even slightly forgotten grape varieties from the region. Therefore Barbera, Freisa, Cortese, Pinot Nero and Nebbiolo are the main grape varieties we work with.

With respect to the character of each variety we developed eleven different products. All our wines fall within the official appellation system. In our region the Barbera d’Asti DOCG is the most well-known and frontrunner, but also our Freisa d’Asti DOC and Piemonte DOC Cortese are widely appreciated.

We consider it a challenge to look at the winemaking process from our ‘international perspective’ and actively study the possibilities to make ‘out-of-the box wines’. For example, we worked on a Freisa d’Asti aged in small oak barrels. Our white Cortese had a short skin maceration and subsequently matured in small oak barrels.

Also, making a blend Monferrato Rosso DOC with a more international taste, was different kind of challenge we wanted to take on.

To make sure that one can start it’s evening with a nice glass of iDivini we developed a sparkling wine, according to the traditional method, with our Pinot Nero and Cortese grapes. And to finish we invite you to taste our Vermouth Rosso di Torino, made of our Barbera aged in oak barrels…
