iDivini

Winery in Monferrato

About the Winery

iDivini is nestled among ancient vineyards near Isola d’Asti. The vines, aged between 40 and 65 years, are at the heart of the winery’s distinctive and characterful wines. Founded in 2018, iDivini brings together the international vision of Koen and Anna with the deep-rooted local knowledge and experience of its team.

The focus is on artisanal production, where tradition and innovation go hand in hand. With great respect for nature and terroir, modern technology is used to craft refined wines that express authenticity, elegance, and quality. Each wine is given the time and attention it needs to reveal its unique personality.

By combining long-standing viticultural heritage with an entrepreneurial and global mindset, iDivini has evolved into a modern and dynamic winery. Every bottle reflects both the region's rich legacy and the estate's forward-thinking spirit.

About the Wines

At iDivini, there is a strong focus on preserving the heritage of the vineyards by working primarily with indigenous and lesser-known grape varieties from the region, such as Barbera, Freisa, Cortese, Pinot Nero, and Nebbiolo. Eleven unique products have been developed, all within the official appellation system. Barbera d’Asti DOCG is a standout, while Freisa d’Asti DOC and Piemonte DOC Cortese are also highly regarded.

The winery adopts a forward-thinking approach, constantly exploring innovative techniques to craft unique wines. For instance, there has been experimentation with Freisa d’Asti aged in small oak barrels to enhance complexity. Similarly, the white Cortese undergoes a brief skin maceration followed by maturation in small barrels to develop a distinctive character.

Moreover, the creation of Monferrato Rosso DOC, a blend with a more international appeal, represents another bold move to expand the traditional offerings. To ensure a well-rounded portfolio, iDivini has also produced a sparkling wine using the traditional method with Pinot Nero and Cortese grapes. To round off the collection, the Vermouth Rosso di Torino, made from oak-aged Barbera, presents a sophisticated finish to any evening.

This blend of tradition and innovation characterizes iDivini’s approach to winemaking, ensuring that each bottle represents the region's heritage while embracing modern techniques to create wines with a global appeal.
