Le Radici del Tempo is an winery located in San Giorgio Jonico, the country is located on the northern slope of the Belvedere hill, agricultural "chora" of "Magno-Graecia" Taranto. Winegrower by four generation, the winery relies exclusively on the family participation and by 2005 it produced on his own the entire production chain. The company consists of three hectares planted in part in 1970 and intended to the Primitivo wine. Thanks to its geographical location the vines enjoy a mild and sunny climate almost all year round. And combining the farming tradition to new technologies, from the finest grapes and from a family history where passion and vocation for the land are the foundations of a unique quality, that we find rich bouquet Primitivo telling us the story of a land particularly bound to sun and nature.

ARKE': Grapes: 100% Primitivo Alcohol content: 14 % vol Cultivar system: aspen Yield for ha: 60/70 q. The grapes are harvested manually, destemmed and gently pressed. Following a maceration period of approx. 7-10 days insiede stainless steel silos in a controlled temperature. After the malolattic fermentation there is short passage in oak casks. Following there is the bottling. A 3-month ageing period is needed before putting it on the market. Sensorial feature: Intense ruby red, with hints of mature fruit and light spices. Arkè is a velvety, elegant, and pleasant wine, suggested with pasta dishes, meat, game dishes and seasoned cheeses. GEKOROSSO: Grapes: 100% Primitivo Alcohol content: 14,5 % vol Cultivation system: aspen Yield for ha: 60/70 q. The grapes are harvested manually, destemmed and gently pressed. Following a maceration period of approx. 7-10 days inside stainless steel silos in a controlled temperature. After the malolattic fermentation there is the bottling. A 3- month ageing period is needed before putting it on the market. Sensorial features: Ample bouquet, fragrant and with hints of wild berries, it can be appreciated at its best with rich pasta dishes, rustic chopping boards and roast.
