Bellissima esperienza!
La visita, curata da Martina, è stata molto chiara e ci ha fatti entrare nel vivo di una piccola azienda familiare, ma soprattutto genuina.
Il vino che abbiamo assaggiato, accompagnato dalla spiegazione e di Martina, è stato la rappresentazione dell’intento di questa cantina: qualità.
Raccomando la cantina Lignanello a tutti per un’esperienza unica.

About Winery and Wines
My name is Martina, and I was born and raised between the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Valdichiana, famous for its Chianina beef. Since 2016, I’ve carried on my family's tradition of cultivating wine and olive oil, expanding the farm and adding agritourism activities. Lignanello covers 5 hectares, with 1.5 hectares of vineyards primarily planted with Sangiovese, alongside Merlot, Syrah, Trebbiano, and Malvasia. We are small producers, bottling about 5,500 bottles annually, focusing on quality and organic methods.
We produce approximately 5,500 bottles per year across three labels:
Saggiolo: A unique white wine made from Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes, fermented in steel and matured in French oak tonneaux for 9 months. Each bottle is handcrafted and numbered, embodying the spirit of experimentation and exclusivity.
Bandolo Toscana Rosso IGT: A pure Sangiovese, fermented and matured in steel, offering a fresh and simple wine with pronounced tannins and a distinct Sangiovese character.
Contrasti Orcia Rosso DOC: Made from hand-selected Sangiovese grapes, this wine is matured for 9 months in French oak barrels. It boasts a complex aromatic profile with spices and wood notes, harmoniously blended with ripe red fruit.
