About Winery and Wines
PIETRALUCE is the winery run by our family, the Savoldi family. In 2018, we decided to change our profession to realise a completely new project, which is the fruit of our dream and a great passion. Franciacorta is the land where we are born and is the Italian excellence for the traditional method sparkling wines. Our desire is, to bring our own style of sparkling wine, which can be recognisable, exciting and be remembered over time.
Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, our philosophy is organic, modern, highly technological and non-invasive. The meaning of the name PIETRALUCE is the summary of all our work. PIETRA: The precious stone, also the company logo, symbolises the earth, which is precious, and for this reason must be cared for and respected; LUCE: the light is the end of our work, the one that will reflect a glass of our sparkling wine.
PIETRALUCE produces exclusively Franciacorta Blanc de Blancs using only Chardonnay grapes from its own vineyards, with one exception, the Franciacorta Rosé, made with pure Pinot Noir in only 3000 bottles per year. We focus on autheticity, elegance, low sugar dosage and a lot of details.
