About Winery and Wines

Pif à Papa is an urban winery created by a father and his son in 2020 in Paris La Défense.

The idea was to produce organic natural wine next to Paris, in a winery that you could access by public transportation so that we could show the end, consumer, how wine is made and convey our passion for wine using enology workshops and wine tastings. We harvest the grapes by hand in different locations (Anjour, Touraine, Alsace, Ile-de-France) bring back the grapes to the winery, and do the whole vinification process here.

Moreover, Pif à Papa developed its vineyard in the Paris region (Ile-de-France) with the acquisition of vines in the 95 département that gave their first grapes of Pinot Noir in 2022 and with the acquisition of a parcel in the 77 département that we will plant with Chenin, Mondeuse, and Gewurztraminer in 2024.

All our wines are organic and natural. They are made from organic or biodynamic grapes that we harvest in different locations  (Anjour, Touraine, Alsace, Ile-de-France) bring back the grapes to the winery and do the whole vinification process here.

We produce 12 different wines per year: reds, whites, rosés, orange, and a blend of those. The idea is to release a new wine every month so that our wine club discover another facet of Pif à Papa each month.

Wines are made in stainless steel vats or oak barrels, depending on the style we want to make.

They are mainly monovarietal and made from many different grape varieties (Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grolleau, Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, Chenin, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Grolleau Gris)
