A lovely experience

It was a new and beautiful experience, they were very friendly, they gave us a tour of the vineyard, we tried the grapes, they kindly offered to take pictures of us. The food was delicious and the wines exquisite.

Amazing! Would recommend to anyone

The wine tasting experience was amazing! We were a group of 5 and agreed it was the best tasting we've ever done. The host, Giulia, was informative and attentive from start to finish, with the ideal level of detail about the vineyard and the wine we were trying. We had 2 delicious meat & cheese sharing boards which complimented the wine perfectly. The scenery and views at the vineyard were stunning, and we loved that all the wine was organic with a large emphasis on looking after the local wildlife in the vineyard. This is an absolute must-have to be included in your holiday .

Azienda a conduzione familiare che riesce a trasmettere la passione e l'entusiasmo che mettono nella loro azienda. Simone, il titolare, spiega minuziosamente i suoi vini non solo nel processo ma anche raccontandone la storia. Vini buoni, bellissimo panorama, accoglienza ottima!

About Winery and Wines

Podere Casa Piana is the realization of a lifelong dream by Simone, a young agronomist who chose to leave behind the fast-paced modern world to reconnect with nature and pursue his passion for sustainable agriculture. The roots of this project date back more than 20 years, when Simone spent his summers helping his grandfather Pietro (known as Piràt) with the work on the family estate, Casa Piana, nestled in the hills of Monteveglio. The winery embraces principles of sustainable farming, organic cultivation, and the preservation of the environment, all while honoring the land's unique qualities.

Located in the scenic Valsamoggia region, Casa Piana offers visitors an authentic and tranquil experience, where the connection to nature is evident in every aspect of winemaking. Podere Casa Piana produces a selection of wines that embody the essence of the Valsamoggia region, highlighting the local terroir and the natural characteristics of the grape varieties. The collection includes:

Pignoletto Frizzante: A refreshing sparkling white wine from the clay-rich hills of Valsamoggia, ideal as an all-meal companion.
Ramato Barbera Rosata: A delicate rosé named for its coppery hue and the Ramato stream that flows through the vineyard. Elegant and refined.
Pignoletto Fermo: A still white wine from the same area, showcasing the natural qualities of the Pignoletto grape.
Pirat Rifermentato in Bottiglia: A blend of Trebbiano, Pignoletto, and Alionza, re-fermented in the bottle, offering fine bubbles and a slightly bitter finish typical of Pignoletto.
Furben Lambrusco: A rustic, lightly acidic rosé Lambrusco, perfect for casual drinking with its refreshing, sparkling nature.
