Bellissima esperienza, io e il mio compagno eravamo gli unici due ospiti per la degustazione, così Andrea, il proprietario, ci ha non solo fatto conoscere i suoi vini, ma ha condiviso con noi questa esperienza, in una tavola piena di prodotti tipici, con piacevoli chiacchierate, facendoci sentire come se fossimo a pranzo da un amico. I vini sono buonissimi, la dedizione di questo ragazzo è enorme, la mamma super simpatica... Un vero piacere! Super consigliato!

Se si cerca una degustazione classica, didascalica e un po' impersonale, questa cantina non fa per voi. Per chi invece cerca un'esperienza autentica e familiare, allora siete nel posto giusto. I proprietari ci hanno accolto con grande gentilezza e calore. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa, coccolati con dei vini biologici e non di grande qualità, accompagnati da crudo tagliato a mano e formaggi locali buonissimi.

About Winery and Wines

Podere Casina was founded in 1987 when Rahel Kimmich and Marcello Pirisi bought an abandoned farm of forty-five hectares between the towns of Grosseto and Scansano. With dedication, a lot of sacrifice and passion, the couple of Podere Casina managed to turn it into a functional company, where they live with their children and where every day they take care of all the various activities in the vineyard as well as in the cellar.

Podere Casina dedicates 11 hectares of vineyard to the cultivation of vines, 9.5 hectares of Sangiovese vines and 1.5 hectares of Syrah vines. The company carries out manual work in its vineyards, with the aim of avoiding the use of herbicides and other chemical products, cultivating the land by alternating grassing, aware that good wine is made in the vineyard, with the intention of producing wines that are the most authentic expression of the Tuscan territory of Scansano.
