I must premise that this was the first real tasting of my life, but what it left me and my partner with was truly positive and unforgettable. A special thanks goes to the lady who accompanied us for the entire duration of the experience, and to her son. Together they welcomed us and showed us the wonderful expanse of vineyards that opened up before our eyes, explaining the importance of the soil, of climate change, of the constant and conscious labor. They then accompanied us to the cellars, where they showed us the journey a bunch of grapes takes before becoming wine, then the bottling and all the sustainable choices implemented by this family and their motivations. They then had us sit in a lovely little spot, in the cool, where we tasted 6 different wines, grappa, vin santo and oil, all accompanied by an excellent plate of cured meats. We were constantly followed and advised, and the lady was always ready to answer our every curiosity. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much, highly recommended and unbeatable quality-price ratio.

Today I had an unexpectedly beautiful experience at the Cantina Fitto delle Chianacce, where a tasting of their wines and oil had been booked.

Signora Edda welcomed us with great cordiality and told us the very interesting story of their production, from the white to the rosé, a good four red wines, oaked and unoaked, including a remarkable Syrah, to finish with a delicious Vin Santo, enjoyed to the fullest with an excellent pecorino from Pienza.

So much dedication from the Signora and her family came through during the meeting, in a beautiful landscape setting of the Cortona area, of Chianacce.

Congratulations, excellent wines, which are sure to find favor among consumers who appreciate the products of our Land.

A special mention goes to the EVO oil, delicate and flavorful, which was greatly appreciated on bread. There is no comparison between this oil and what you buy in stores, even at a high price.

Thanks to Signora Edda and her availability, for a meeting that lasted over an hour and a half, with a visit to the cellars and the related tasting.
